Exciting news to share: For those of you who live outside the English-speaking world and have wanted to see ADIEU LACAN, it is now possible. Starting immediately, here on my website you will find the following link to watch the film on Eventive.

I am now offering online screenings at group rates of ADIEU LACAN and—for the first time—of my latest film IKONOPHILE Z, which carries the tagline “a light romantic comedy about the extinction of all life on earth.” I recorded a song for the movie with the Romanian composer Silent Strike—who is also responsible for the movie’s wonderful score—which. I performed it in a persona I created under the moniker Death Driver. Tricky, the British record producer and rapper, heard the songit and signed it to his Berlin label False Idols. Consequently, IKONOPHILE Z will not be released until the fall at the earliest—to tie in with the release of the song, and likely an accompanying music video. If you are considering organizing an online advance group screening and would like to see the trailer sooner than that, please email me and I will make it available for you to watch.

We are also in pre-pre-production on V13 (aka VIENNA 1913): while Europe is on the brink of WW1, two young men from different backgrounds, Hugo and Adolf, become friends. One, complaining of an irrational impulse towards a hatred of Jews, will undergo psychoanalysis with Sigmund Freud, while the other, a struggling artist obsessed with vegetarianism and German nationalism, will become Adolf Hitler. V13 is based on the play “Vienna 1913” by the late French psychoanalyst and writer Alain Didier-Weill. More upcoming news about V13 will follow in future issues of this newsletter.
